The Chapel, A multi-purpose venue in Salisbury

It’s not often I do this, but this article isn’t about website design or search engines, but more of a thank you to a local Salisbury-based business for an outstanding job.
In August 2014 I married Monika, and we decided to use The Chapel Nightclub in Salisbury as the venue for our reception and evening do. “Whoooaaaa?” I hear you say, “a night club for a wedding?”.
Yes that’s right, the Chapel Room is a listed building and looks absolutely stunning, furthermore it has an inbuilt light and sound system, several bars, kitchen, pretty much everything needed, so we put our trust in to them, and we not disappointed. It is as if the Chapel was purpose built for wedding receptions.
It went fantastically; it honestly couldn’t have gone better. Everything was organised by Jane Gregory, the venue, the catering, the linen, and decorated by my wife. The venue comfortably held 60 people for our reception, and almost 200 people for the evening event which finished at 2am.
The catering was provided by Neal Gately and turned out to be the best wedding food I have ever had, all of the guests had their plates piled high.
It also didn’t break the bank, something that most wedding venues do.
All of our guests gave great feedback, a couple saying it was the best night they’ve ever had in Salisbury, and a couple from overseas wanting to come back and visit the Chapel.
This article is a little thanks to Jane Gregory, Amanda Newbery and their team at the Chapel for a great day. I will personally vouch for this as a venue.
The Chapel Nightclub truly is a multi-purpose venue, in two weeks it’s hosting a business lunch for Salisbury Chamber of Commerce, and can also do private dinners, balls, parties, and award ceremonies. It can cater for 200 sit-down dinners, or a buffet for 750.
